The following Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) apply to all users of https://abi.am/ (the “Website”), which is owned and operated by the “Armenian Bioinformatics Institute” Scientific Educational Foundation.
BEFORE USING THE WEBSITE, PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY
Eligibility
The information presented on the Website is accessible to everyone and the visitors of the Website can get acquainted with it without creating a personal account. At the same time, in order to use all the features of the Website, you will be required to create a personal account. You can get acquainted with the information required for registration and the procedure for further processing of the provided data in the Privacy Policy section of the Website.
Persons under 18 are not allowed to have a personal account on the Website.
We do our best to make available the Website to all. However, you will not be able to create a personal account and/or use the Website in case:
• Your location restricts access to or use of the Website;
• We have previously blocked your personal account for violating these Terms and/or applicable law.

You agree not to use the Website in any way that would affect us adversely or reflect negatively on us, the Website, our goodwill, our employees or moderators, our name or reputation, or discourage any person or legal entity from using all or any portion, features or functions of the Website, or from advertising, linking or becoming a supplier to us in connection with the Website.
Unauthorized or prohibited use of the Website may subject you to civil liability, administrative and/or criminal prosecution under the applicable law.
Liability
For the violation of these Terms, the User shall be liable for the damages (real damage and lost benefit) caused to the Foundation in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Armenia.
The Parties acknowledge that the Foundation is not responsible for any damages of third parties caused by the User as a result of the breach of the Terms.
Disclaimer
The Foundation has the right to suspend the work of the Website for the purpose of eliminating technical malfunctions, carrying out preventive works, as well as ensuring security. In this case, the Foundation is not responsible for any inconvenience or damage caused to Users and/or to third parties as a result of the termination of the Website.
The Foundation reserves the right, at our discretion, to change, modify the Terms at any time for any reason, and we may notify you of such changes through any means, including a change to the “Last Updated” date set forth above. All changes shall be effective immediately. In the event of a material change that may directly affect your account on the Website, if any, we may notify you via the most recent e-mail address that you have provided to us in conjunction with your account. The Foundation considers that the User has been properly acquainted with these Terms and its subsequent changes, and has given its consent to them, if the User uses or continues to use the Website and/or the services offered on the Website.
The Website contains links to other online resources. If you follow a link to any of these resources, you acknowledge and agree that the Foundation is not responsible for the “User Content” provided by that link and the inclusion of any link on the Website does not imply our affiliation, endorsement, or adoption of the linked website or other content or any information therein.
Applicable law and dispute resolution
The legislation of the Republic of Armenia shall apply to the relations between the Foundation and the User arising from the use of the Website on the basis of these Terms.
The disputes arising between the Foundation and the User shall be resolved through negotiations. For this purpose, the User may submit their complaints/requests to the Foundation by sending an e-mail to [email protected], indicating the grounds for the complaint/request.
The Foundation undertakes to respond to the e-mail received by the User within 10 (ten) working days. If the Parties fail to settle their dispute through negotiations within 15 (fifteen) working days, the dispute shall be subject to review by the courts of the Republic of Armenia.
The Terms (as defined above) for the Website represent a legally binding agreement between you, an individual user (the “Users”), and the Foundation regarding your use of the Website.
BY REGISTERING FOR AND/OR ACCESSING, BROWSING, OR USING THE WEBSITE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO THE TERMS AS WELL AS YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND REPRESENT TO US THAT YOU ARE LEGALLY COMPETENT TO ENTER INTO AND AGREE TO THESE TERMS. IF AT ANY TIME YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, PLEASE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATE YOUR USE OF THE WEBSITE.
